Denver (May 21, 2009) Isaacson Rosenbaum P.C. today announced the election of a new Chief Executive Officer, Lonny Donovan. Donovan has been with Isaacson Rosenbaum for more than 28 years and is taking the CEO position so that Jon Steeler, who has served as CEO for the last eight years, may turn his attention to the rapidly expanding demand for legal services within his areas of expertise.
Mr. Steeler will put all of his energy into client demands that revolve around corporate and environmental matters, including the representation of a major Colorado casino in its ongoing operations, a large piece of environmental litigation in Colorado, and continued Brownfields redevelopment projects in the Denver metro area.
"I have been pleased to serve as CEO with such a great group of lawyers. I look forward to working more closely with my clients, whose legal needs are more pressing than ever. The firm is in great hands with Lonny, as he's been involved in leading the firm, in one position or another, for almost two decades," Mr. Steeler said.
Mr. Donovan joined Isaacson Rosenbaum's real estate group in 1981. He is a Shareholder in the firm's Real Estate and Sustainable Development Department. He has served on the firm's Executive Committee for multiple terms.
